LYLA RYE

A folded screen made with children’s building blocks that act as a filter, barrier and framing device. Its complex geometry is digitally altered with errors and glitches introduced into the pattern which play out differently on alternating planes. The pattern is further influenced by the random use of yellowed blocks.
