Sheet neoprene rubber around juniper bush
Outer cirlce radius 4.5 m / 15' | Site specific installation: The Tree Museum. Gravenhurst, Ontario
The Juniper is a symbol of rejuvenation in fairy tales. Walking around the installation one can read the handwritten text cut into a black rubber ring encircling an isolated Juniper bush. The text is based upon a conversation with a local farmer as well as personal memories of Muskoka. Companion piece to the video: "The Juniper Tree"
